Chapter 2: Course Outline
Welcome to MicroWiki! MicroWiki is basically the Wikipedia for micronations. This course will help you get the basics on how to edit here.
Course objectives
This course is intended for you to
- Learn the basics and ins and outs of MicroWiki
- Write a decent MicroWiki article in the correct manual of style
Recommeded requisites
It is recommended that you have an intermediate understanding and be able to write and read in the English language. No coding experience is required and we will not teach you anything about coding.
Course benefits
Having a decent MicroWiki page regarding your nation can boost your first impressions towards the public. Furthermore, as MicroWiki shares the same "system" used by Wikipedia and many Wikias (that being MediaWiki), these skills can be transferable towards those platforms. Finally, lots of editing and writing on MicroWiki greatly improves your writing and reading skills, allows you to spot grammar mistakes quickly, correctly reference documents, which are all needed in your future.
You don't just become a decent MicroWiki editor in 1 hour, nor was Rome built in a day. It takes dedication and practice to learn the ins and outs of this platform. I wish you the best of luck.
